So I want to listen to some new music in the Post-Hardcore genre. And when I say "Post-hardcore" I mean stuff like Pianos Become the Teeth, These Arms Are Snakes, Saetia, The World Is A Beautiful Place & And I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, La Dispute, Have Heart, Listener, etc.

I don't care how old or new the bands are or how famous or local they are, I just want new music to listen to.

So throw me anything you can think of, I appreciate it.

Check out anything on Topshelf records. A lot of the bands you've listed down there are already signed to them. There's a lot of interesting post-hardcore (or emo/screamo, whatever you want to call it) work there, as well as some nice math rock.

Also check out bands related to those you have listed. With Saetia, for instance, Off Minor and Hot Cross are both bands related to them (Off Minor are fantastic), but I suppose you've already heard of those guys, especially if you have a pg.99 avatar xD.

I would recommend you check out a lot of 90s - here's a good place to start: A How To Guide To Emotional Hardcore. My favourites listed there would be Portraits of Past, Indian Summer, Heroin, Moss Icon, and Orchid (Orchid were playing in the 00s but they started in the 90s - totally counts). Oh yeah, and Rites of Spring are fantastic, but practically everyone who's into post-hardcore has likely heard of them (at least I hope that's right now, otherwise I sound like a total hipster).

La Quiete and Raein are awesome :D. Suis de Lune (I think?) are another favourite foreign band of mine, though French, not Italian.

In fairness all the bands he listed above were emo.

Also, second the recommendations you've made. Fugazi is probably one of my favourite bands, like, ever.

(I'm not arguing or anything here haha but) he only listed a few emo bands, Saetia and PBTT. all the bands you listed are awesome but the guy should get post-hardcore if he asks for post-hardcore, right?
Also re Fugazi: amen.

I think on this site I've seen Have Heart called post-hardcore and pop-punk. definitely interesting.

but yeah Quicksand and Fugazi are good to check out. I'm kind of new to a lot of this genre myself

Bear vs. Shark was the best band of all time.

Their new band, Bars of Gold, is one of the best active bands. Their new album should be released this winter.
