I would expect more than chug, their last album was decidedly less "chugging" that Deceiver
I disagree, completely. Life Cycles sounded so much weaker instrumentally.

Oh lord, do not want. Lots of bands have done better covers in my opinion, and I prefer the Enter Shikari acoustic one.

Arguing with Drew about fearless bands especially the word alive seems pointless.
I'm not trying to be argumentative. Just calling it like I see it. Life Cycles is a massive dud.

I just mean that I basically throw out his opinion at this point on anything Fearless and TWA related and wish someone else would review their stuff because he gets far to argumentative and defensive over all their bands. That and him being friends with Telle/getting free stuff from him makes it hard to take all his praise seriously. I know others have posted they do the same thing too.
I gotcha man

I disagree, i would say that life cycles and entirety arnt that great instumentally but there is a lot of good songs on it like room 126, evolution, and smoke monster which are great instrumentally, i think everyone was too quick to judge their album, its easily better than deceiver as a whole
Sorry but a good 75% of the guitar was open note and bar chord rhythms. Of course the solos and riffs, when there are good, all the of the songs you mentioned are great examples. But to me they hardly compared to the diversity and experimentation of so many parts of Deceiver.
