this is a good band, but quite a few of their songs are too generic and his voice was extremely grating in the last album.

Gotta respect the guy for what he writes about and for being so open. That being said after hearing the album stream on Artist Direct I cannot wait to own this. The record is soooo good.

Cody I'm sorry you lost your dad but you know he is looking down on you and I bet he's really proud because you wrote one heartful and amazing record.

This album really is fucking amazing, from the first track to the last. It's super addictive and catchy. Only gripe is, since they use strings so much, I hope they hire a live string section for the next record. I can only imagine how even MORE amazing some of these songs would be if it wasn't synth-strings. Still an incredible record as it stands though.

Fuck. I cried a tiny bit when he was talking about the note in his wallet. I freaking love this album, it's just REALLY good.

Also does he have a huge scar on his neck?

I have to say never was a fan of this band, mainly just cause I wasnt a fan of his voice but damn, after watching a couple I was like okay I gotta give this a try and I ended up really digging this record. Still not a huge fan of Cody's voice, but its gotten much better and less nasally but man is he an amazing writer. A lot of respect for him and this band. They remind me of a heavier Monty Are I

Love the jazz influence on Plastic Promises. And also album sounds great sonically. Great production.
