Happy I got to see them on the tour that just passed, looks like that may have been it for them.

I'd imagine it was a business move predicated on Wilson and Love's vastly different ideas of what The Beach Boys should be. Love likes the poppy hits, Wilson likes the personal 'obscure' tracks - unfortunately, Love owns the rights to the Beach Boys. I imagine it was something along those lines, with Jardine siding with Wilson.

Who knows though.
