I have the fondest memories of listening to Hammock. Every one of their songs just takes me back to a time or place, so good.

They're not really the same.

For my money, Hammock is the best and most original ambient band out there. No one else sounds like them. Sure, Stars of the Lid and Helios kind of pull off that ethereal, slow motion movement of layered synths and guitars, but Hammock just does it with so much emotion and nostalgia.

The new songs sound amazing.
