I mean, it was December of 2011 so depending when it comes out, it could basically be just one year. It was also a year and a half between Brothers and El Camino

What the hell are you talking about? Brothers and El Camino sound very different from Magic Potion or Rubber Factory.

Not a fan of Danger Mouse's production of their albums, their self produced stuff is their best imo.

i don't see whats so special about this band. way overhyped.

I take it you aren't familiar with their history of releases? I mean that in jest, but two years really is on the long end of their typical release cycle. I think the longest they've had between albums was 26 months, and that was with the period of strife between Dan and Patrick after Attack & Release. These guys just live to put out new music.

Either way, I'm excited. If anything, I'm sure it will hit later in the year, but I'd love to see them try to get Danger Mouse as producer again.

I guess I haven't noticed. that being said, I think it they spent longer between albums then they might put out a whole albums worth of good tracks, instead of what they have released... albums with a few great tracks and a bunch of filler

I support Dangermouse producing anything! Broken Bells was amazing and he brought some life to Norah Jones newest album. I am confident that if he produces their new album it will be their most exciting release to date.

good band, nothing too impressive but still nice. really quick sellouts they are
