The only thing I've ever heard from this band before this was their track on Run For Cover's first comp. This album may have just made me a fan

I honestly don't feel like there has been that much hype about this. I think the people saying "I just don't get the hype" are mistaking hype for praise. This record has a great sound to it and I can honestly say that throughout the first song I wasn't sold. I felt that the production was a little weak, but the second track really grabbed me and now going through a second time I love it all. Great album for sure.

I gotta say after listening to the whole record, Patriot was my favorite. Totally came out of left field. Very nice work boys.

Definitely an AOTY contender for me.
