I'll have a better listen once the album is out, but I'm really not feeling the vocals on this one, sadly. I only made it through clips 2-6. The vox just sound sort of... forced, and overall - not what I expected from this reunion. I do, however, want to like this and want to give it a fair amount of time to digest.

The Wedding, Anchor & Braille, Children 18:3 were pretty good releases. Plus, Matt & Toby (of Emery) sounds like its going to be pretty good.

T&N is not even close to what it used to be IMO, but its still got a handful of albums I really like.

Has anyone been able to figure out why the show in Boston has been canceled? Can't find an official statement anywhere.

Won't be back in town until Monday so if I get my pre-order early, it won't matter. Ugh.

Anchor & Braille? I just meant from the standpoint that Further Seems Forever were always punted pretty well by T&N. I understand that what they've signed lately (aside from Anberlin/Emery side projects) has been rubbish, but I remember back in the day when I would get promos every day for FSF records.

Probably a greatest hits Anberlin album.

I love the guitar work on this album. From what I hear from these previews, it's giving me a Clarity Vibe. Do I think it could top Clarity from JEW? No, but the instrumentation and song structures seem like they can lead to the sound of that album.

i think it hasn't been promoted as much as we all thought because this isn't by any means chris' full project. i know they've already announced that the few shows listed are the only ones in 2012 and who knows how many they'll actually play in 2013.
