I've been a fan of these guys for the last few years, and they're finally releasing a full-length on November 6th. They have the entire album streaming on their bandcamp page, and it's already one of my favorite records of the year. I just can't get enough of it. I'm no good at writing reviews, so I'm gonna borrow a blurb from Matthew Tsai's review of their last EP. It perfectly describes the new record, too:
"...the guitars get real frisky and the melodies are unabashed pop-punk: A monument of the band’s greatest strengths. But really, every track is precisely executed and gratifying. Cain Marko are all about early ‘90’s punk revival, but if revival is their goal, At Sea rocks hard enough – and on-point enough – to stir an entire Awakening."
RIYL: Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Small Brown Bike, Transit
I've seriously had "Damn It, Valentine!" on repeat for like, three days.
