What exactly did the entire morgue murder scene have to do with a band signing to a label?

I actually like these guys. I tend to look beyond the image and focus on the music. Give them a fair shot.

Listened to some of this band's older stuff and I probably would've liked them in highschool. That being said, people need to stop signing these gimmicky bands.
