All of their new stuff is terrible, though. Why would they play it live? I'm speaking as a consistant purchaser of their records and I barely made it through this past one. Not impressed. |
You think their new stuff is terrible, but the fact is that their last 3 singles were their most commercially successful of their career on radio, so that's why they would play them. It's been 10 years since "Harder To Breathe" and radio doesn't sound like that anymore. If you're a pop band, which Maroon 5 is, you adapt or you get left behind. They adapted VERY well and their singles' chart positions indicate that.
