Today I picked up a friend and we went to the post office to get some mail. I was anxious because I was not familar with the area ( I have very bad anxiety problems). when we arrived i pulled into a parking place but when i hit the brake it felt like the car was still moving, however i asked my friend and he said we were stopped. so i dont know what the hell happened but i think i went into a trance like state that was a precaution for a seizure. ( which i have had before due to panic). I then called for someone to pick us up because i didnt feel safe driving anymore. Can anxiety really fuck you up this bad??

Yes, it can. I've had plenty of similar experiences. Smoke some weed?

Never had anxiety problems but I'll pretend I know people who do. I think it's all in your head. Next time that happens, put the car in park, turn off your car and put your emergency brake up. Sit there and tell yourself everything is fine. Maybe sit on the ground so you know you're not moving. Take a few breaths, grab some water and keep telling yourself you're fine. Hope that helps.

Anxiety is a silent killer. If it doesn't physically destroy you, then it will mentally. Maybe look into some herbal/natural relief.

Hello, I have had problems with anxiety before and I can say that I have had this happen to me a couple times. Instances where I am sitting down yet it feels like I am moving or shaking on a boat. Pretty sure this can be attributed to increased anxiety, and in your case not being familiar with the area. The best advice I can give that has helped me over time, is just realizing things are out of your control. Go on with your daily activities and things you would normally be doing.

The cars around you were probably still moving therefore making you feel like you were moving as well.

I swear anxiety is either overlooked or just not a major problem over here, but a bunch of people in the US of A seem to have problems with it.

Weird huh.

It's not weird, it's a product of most Americans horrifically shitty eating habits much like most "Western" diseases.

Most Americans are highly Magnesium and B-vitamin deficient which leads to anxiety and depression. It's a cheap fix (buy some supplements) but most doctors aren't trained to test for these deficiencies so they go unnoticed and poorly treated.
