How far inland are you? Or are you near like Rehoboth or Lewes? Or farther north along the Delaware Bay? Either way, those winds won't be good at all.
Oh, and this is the view from my mom's house from Somers Point, NJ. She lives about a half block away from the bay that separates the mainland from Ocean City, NJ. The closer you go to the bay, of course the deeper it will get, but now I reckon that's about two feet deep.
I'm up in New Castle County, but I'm right by the wetlands and the Augustine Beach/Port Penn areas, so that's the northern part of the bay (like five-ten minutes west). My area wasn't evacuated though, so we should be alright.
Jersey's going to get walloped though. If the streets are that bad already, that's not good. Stay safe, man.
EDIT: also it's been alright so far. Lots of rain and wind. Right now it's pretty calm, which I guess just means shit's gonna hit the fan later.
