Haha ah well, it's surely a formula we all must have long suspected by this point. Exactly why I can't read their reviews.

it's 2012

Change "interesting" to "pretentious"

Describe in detail how Pitchfork is pretentious.

I THOUGHT IT WAS AMUSING! I didn't say, 'oh look at this publication, how it fails. It's staff do not have the exact same opinions'. I said that I found it amusing to see such a difference in a review. I understand that people have different opinions, my friend. Please don't act like you're infinitely more intelligent than me. It's not 'clear'. Unless I have actually conversed with you before and I do not recall it, I fail to see how it is clear that I 'have no idea how to look a publication' through me posting a couple of links to an album's review which I was somewhat amused by. I did not think deeply about the posting of them, I just posted them. Get over it.

You said that all Pitchfork writers hate music. That's what you said.

I wasn't referring to the Bright Eyes reviews as the reason they hate music. I was referring to 90% of their reviews. That's why I left a gap between that statement and the links. I don't even know why I'm bothering, do you people really give this much consideration to meaningless posts?

Oh im just saying that youre wrong im sure pitchfork likes music

perfect post

the difference between mindsets here and with pitchfork, even if this is a community first, is that ap.net is so willing to accept mediocrity and sell it off as greatness. ap.net seems to hate pitchfork because it's so "pretentious" or negative or watever, but in my opinion, it's just grounded. people here are so ready to pass off something so boringly mediocre as the best album of ______, that when pitchfork says that it's just okay, they fucking freak out.
