He stated in an interview that he killed the song. Apparently it was a song for his son, that he shouldn't be afraid of the world.

And holy shit I am stoked for new material.

I would love to hear their take on a serious country song. I like when rock bands release songs with an unexpected country twang.

big difference between an ep for christmas and a christmas ep. one is sometimes terrible, the other is always terrible.

i don't understand all the support for mark. his songs are always so juvenile and lack any level of depth. when he does use metaphor, it's so shallow, i get embarrassed for him.

What about that line he sings on Neighborhoods.... "Delete the progress on your game. Try to fall asleep while your ears ring, from the loudest songs on your mix tape. I can dance to anything you wanna sing."? Wait... those are literally some of the worst lyrics I've ever heard outside of a Maroon 5 song. You were right. Marks lyrics on Neighborhoods were pretty awful, but it's not like Tom's were much better.
