Hope this is good.

Genre: Metal (Metalcore) isn't very inspiring though

If your familiar with Funeral surely you must know a lot of their material is heavy? Not sure what you'd expect really aha minus the Tales album which was a lot more rock.
No mate, their music isn't that heavy. All of the clips I've heard and the one song released are quite a bit musically heavier than most of their stuff. I've been a huge fan of this band since Casually, and I'm just not excited by anything to do with this album so far.

They've been heavy since Casually Dressed though ahah and before that.

mmm I know all about 7 ways, even Between Order & Model too But that isn't nearly as musically heavy as their new stuff either you're deliberately being stubborn or you don't understand what I'm saying. Their new stuff, through clips and that song, sounds far more musically heavier than all of their other stuff. Listen to 10;45 there, muscially it's soumewhat light and melodic with some heavy parts, whereas the new clips all sound very chuggy, and well metalcoreish which I don't like.

i don't think the point is if they're still heavy or not... it's just that they're so much better when they blend their heavy side with their melodic one than the straightforward metalcore stuff they're putting out now.
I guess that's what I'm saying, but to me this is by far the heaviest stuff they've done and I don't know if I like this direction or not.

Was M&H your favorite album of theirs? I'm guessing based on the username. I see what you are saying about how heavy they play. I think I like the middle ground of heavy/soft, as Hours is my favorite album.
Hours actually haha. M&H is probably my least favourite, joined just before it came out and chose this name.
