I would rather it that way, because unless you are playing straightforward punk pop, Hoppus can't keep up. For my sensibilities, Delonge is the stronger song-writer. If there is to be "direction" with the new album, I hope it's Delonge doing the directing.

I've always thought Mark is the better songwriter and lyricist. If DeLonge has the helm (again) on this one it'll sound like Neighborhoods.

I saw the best picture once with Tate's face that said "Everyone is entitled to my own opinion" and it's stuck with me ever since.
