In rap MUSIC (regardless of whether you enjoy it or not) there IS a harmonious combining of vocal and instrumental sounds. (Talented rappers even manage to project an expression of emotion, but hey, we'll take this one step at a time)

If you personally do not enjoy rap music, cool, logically there is no room for debate.
To negate rappers as musicians or rap as a genre of music is purely illogical.

Your logic is flawed because I enjoy Public Enemy, Dr. Dre and Eminem's first 3 LPs.
