They've been playing new songs on some of their recent tours. But yea, it has been a while.

As excited as I am for a solo Johnny Marr record next year, I kind of wish he was heavily involved in the new Modest Mouse work. I think the last album worked well together, & this time everything would have clicked even further... or maybe I just love Marr, & I'm more excited for his solo album, both projects might have stretched him a bit far... just rambling now haha.
