It's that time of year friends. This is the official thread for you to post your best of lists - music, movies, books, whatever - so start putting together what you loved (or hated) about 2012 in this thread!

I'd take my 2011 AOTY over anything from this year but I still have a clear AOTY for 2012 and think it was probably a better year overall.

On the Impossible Past single handedly ruled my 2012

Will start working on my list now, a lot of my best albums were released earlier this year so I need to go back and relisten i.e. Enter Shikari, Sharks, No Trigger.

Top 5 albums - Basement - Colourmeinkindness, Brutality Will Prevail - Scatter the Ashes, John Mayer - Born and Raised, Major League - Hard Feelings, Expire - Pendulum Swings.

Top 5 films - TDKR, Avengers, Amazing Spider-Man, Prometheus and an open spot for the Hobbit (Hopefully lives up to expectations).
