Not the Fightstar mix I would've chosen. If I hadn't heard them before and I listened to those five songs, I probably wouldn't bother to look into them any further... I would've picked:
3. "Grand Unification Part 2"
5. "Follow Me Into the Darkness"
That would help to show off their diversity a bit more, rather than just presenting them as yet another post-hardcore band.
I thought about possibly doing a more diverse mix but went with a more cohesive one instead just because I think that's the sound they do best and what I got into first, then if people like that they can check out their other, different stuff. "99" would never be a choice for me as it's just not that great or different to me and I wouldn't have "Mono" and "FMITTD" both on there as it'd feel like two closers back to back which is kind of awkward and I'd take "Mono" over it, even though I'm a big fan. Again with Grand Unification, I love the song but don't think it'd work well in that mix, I think it works perfectly at the end of an album. If I went for a more varied mix I would have swapped "Paint Your Target" for "Floods" and "Sleep Well Tonight" for "Give Me the Sky".
