I've really been enjoying quite a few lately. Serial Experiments Lain and Baccano! are definitely the best i've seen thus far. I've been waiting for a proper BD release to get into a few series like Monster and Paranoia Agent.

I wish Baccano! was longer but man it's so good. Check out FL:CL if you haven't yet. Pretty wild, funny series.

FL:CL is a blast! Its hard to recommend because I never know how people are going to react to telling them it's about a kid who meets a crazy chick with a guitar and a robot pops out of his head.

Also, I just finished Serial Experiments: Lain. Loved it. Atmospheric, erie, and thought provoking are a few adjectives I could use to describe it.

It is really special. Its hard to say I've seen anything like it really, but I think Neon Genesis Evangelion and Paranoia Agent are up there with animes that effected me as much while I was viewing them. Although its been a long while since I've seen Neon Genesis.
