Are they still going to be in high school? Since I first saw ASM, I thought treating that as senior year and beginning ASM2 with graduation/college would make the most sense. It'd give a pretty natural way to introduce MJ and Harry.

Also, I still hope they kill Gwen in 3. If they kill her in 2 and rush an MJ romance in 3, it'll feel really weird. Let the Gwen arc cover the whole trilogy, and develop MJ as a troubled/party girl here so we get her growth when Gwen dies.

The thing about Spider-Man is that its villains are all so silly. It will look goofy any way they film it.

I don't care if its a different Spiderman universe, JK Simmons deserves to return as Jameson. His scenes were possibly the best thing to come out of the trilogy.

Enjoyed Amazing Spider-Man, though not as much as I had hoped to. Garfield was great as Peter but the film was mediocre. Hoping this sequel rules though, since they got the origin story out of they way and now they're free to do their own thing.

I thought Amazing Spider-Man was a million times better than the pile of shit first trilogy. Andrew Garfield is great as Spider-Man/ Peter Parker.

Dehaan is an excellent choice for Harry Osborn especially if he eventually gets the Goblin Serum.

Never heard of the woman playing Mary Jane though.
