Don't know how well the new guitarist sings but will check this out. Evan was a big part of the sound this band had and they were one of very few in the genre I still listen to. Hoping for the best.

I felt the same way too, but I thought the last Counterparts record sounded great so I'm thinking it'll sound better the second time around with Jay.

Anchors Up is awesome but the drive from southeastern MA is a pain in the ass.

Always excited for new Vanna, but that comment from Evan that him and Chris Campbell wrote like 85% of ATCBB (the best/my favorite Vanna album) has made me wonder whether or not the current lineup can still bring it.

Im pretty sure nick had a big influence in guitar riffs too though.

I would assume so, I'm not sure if Evan was exaggerating out of spite or not (hopefully not) but I guess we'll have to wait and see how the new material holds up.

For a place to record, I think it's pretty good.

i didnt even know there was a studio in haverhill. not the nicest place. may wanna check it out in the future

Really digging the title. This is going to be awesome. One of the only 2013 releases I'm excited about.
