I like Living With Ghosts a lot, but 1000 Kisses is my favorite thing she's done. The fact that that album has "Long Ride Home, AND "Nobody's Crying," AND the Springsteen cover puts it over the top for me.
As for Hoge, I would reiterate the rec for Draw the Curtains. Great break-up record without a weak track. I can see you really, really liking the closer. But I say he and Patty should do a collab just because it sounds like their voices would complement each other perfectly.
I can't argue with that, since Kisses
is flawless up until the last three tracks. But for me, it finishes kind of limply. And I have more of a personal connection to Ghosts
, which I guess is ultimately what elevates it for me.
