I live in NJ and Asbury Park is a little screwed up. If they wanted to, they could've done it at the Meadowlands which is perfectly fine. It's Live Nation who dropped the ball on this one.

What happened last year that was so disastrous? I had no idea it flopped that badly. I mean, I wasn't crazy about the line-up and held off on going but I wasn't expecting this. Also, what's all the chatter about them "ruining Brand New"?...

Skrillex on main stage drowned out TWY, Blink-182 canceled, Brand New played 0 songs from YFW and 1(?) song from Deja.

That's what was disastrous to me anyway...

Livenation stated that Bamboozle wasn't returning to Asbury Park weeks before Hurricane Sandy hit. Electric Daisy Carnival will be at the Meadowlands again next year. Huge competition for Bamboozle. I'm assuming that Boozle wasn't able to get Meadowlands next year because of EDC.
