This review is pretty representative of my view on the genre as whole these days. Solid review.

45% is not unlistenable. 5/10 is basically a big solid "meh." Regardless of whether you like it or not it's rehashed, generic pop punk. It doesn't deserve much more than a "meh" in terms of quality, innovation, lasting appeal, etc. It has the musicianship to bring it up to that 5, but not much else.

Maybe we're on a move to where the rating scale on this site isn't just 7/10 to 10/10.

Personally, I love this band and this record.

There are good points here, personally when hearing the album I was a little disappointed with the lack of originality, but I still liked some of the tracks regardless. Especially "Hard Feelings"

This record was one of my favorites of 2012. 10/10 easily. Best dudes. Great tunes.
