I've listened to track 4 and 5 which are great, but they sound like shells of AWESOME country pop songs.

This is really great, I was not expecting to be this impressed, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.

I remember a lot of the demos he released as The Pilot shortly after HIPV ended being really good. Most of these tracks are dissapointing in comparison. He's a very good songwriter but something is missing here.

Really enjoyed this and definitely bought it. Pretty much if you like acoustic songs and or the Pilot from several years back, this will be up your alley. Pretty sure the first track was released quite a bit ago on purevolume if I am not mistaken.

For anyone that missed it, I strongly recommend his song "Believe What You Will" released under the Pilot moniker. For me, that was the song that made me think that some of the best of HIPV would continue on in the wake of their dissolvement.

Being that the album has a very personal meaning, I'm sure Rob would very much appreciate noting that the foundation is called Conquer Chiari, not Conquer Chiara.

Really? That was probably my least favorite Pilot song. I thought it was a little too cluttered and had sounded kind of whiny. Then again, I didn't like HIPV's Resolution, and the chorus sounded like it could have been taken right from that album.

Funny to see people talking about The Pilot in here though, that solo venture of his is one of the many things that has traveled through my many iPods and many computers over the years. Glad I never got rid of it, not sure how I'd find most of these songs nowadays otherwise.

I miss The Pilot.
