To clarify: nothing has yet happened which makes evaluation of the campaign or its result a good idea.
*One* song is out and you don't like it? That's a shame, but has no one heard of the concept of reserving judgment?
You'll notice that no one with positive feelings about the song has bothered to call this campaign a success the way you people have called it a failure, and (off the top of my head, correct me if I'm wrong) no one who's actually participated in the campaign has come out and shit on it now that one song they may not like has come out.
All signs point to being dicks for the sake of being dicks.
But that's just the way I'm looking at it - I'm excited for all this to come to some resolution before I bother to reflect at all, so I'm biased until this is over. If the album's shitty, that'll be a real shame... but fuck, this has been fun no matter what so I won't consider it a problem. It's a shame when people can't just be positive, or at least avoid being negative, for one minute
