Anyone here play the original Red & Green? When I think of pokemon that's what I think of. 8 bit, horrible looking sprites, solid colour cities and team rocket.
I couldn't get that much into the newer games just because I haven't fully adapted to them but this one looks promising. I hope there are more obstacles for the player, like the rope swinging in the video.
the used game store downtown has blue/red/yellow games for like 20 bucks, but you need to make sure that they work before you buy them. I bought Red there before and have blue, but I don't remember where I put them. And yellow is somewhere in my sister's room.
I honestly think that if you switch Chikorita for Bulbasaur, Johto would have the best starters.
