I didn't think it was that awkward /shrug

I'd say if anything, the questions were pretty lame.

I think Colbert ALWAYS tries to make his interviews feel a little awkward. That's the beauty of it.

Solid performance - that is definitely not what I expected Aimee Mann to look like though.

He definitely does come out with a lot of awkward and witty remarks for his guests, I just felt like Ben came off like he was uncomfortable or something. And after he clarified that he was only interested in music Colbert had no idea where to go next.

Really diggin' "Bigger Than Love". I thought the interview was funny, but I kinda like that awkward humor Cobert brings to his interviews.

he ALWAYS seems awkward when he talks. i saw him at the strand bookstore the other day and he did a Q&A and he was so painfully awkward. also, judging from experience as well as hearsay from a few others, he is a bit of a jerk.

It just looked like the producers expected more from Ben and he didn't offer much which made it weird.

Yep. That was awkward. But I dug the music, which was all I was really interested in I guess.

Side note: I think I've started to like The Daily Show more than Colbert. I've watched all the episodes since they came back from the New Year break and I've been laughing and really appreciating Stewart. Lackluster stuff from Colbert.

Gibbard seems kind of like a douchebag.
