Not sure if we'll get to every category (haven't timed out the days 'til the Oscars), but we'll start at the top just in case:

Day 1: What film WILL win
Day 2: What film SHOULD win
...and so on

What film do you think WILL win Best Picture at the 85th Academy Awards?

I'm going out on a limb here, because it's a weird year and all bets are off: I think Argo still wins Best Picture.

You're correct on that, but there has never been a year like this one before. Timing, technical difficulties, a slew of films the Academy obviously really liked: it all combines to make this the most unpredictable awards season in recent memory...maybe ever. If Argo wins SAG, DGA, or PGA (or even one of them, really), it's a definite player to cause a Picture/Director split.

Then again, maybe this is just the part of me that still doesn't see Lincoln as a Best Picture winner.

I don't think Zero Dark Thirty has a fighting chance for Best Picture, not with all the controversy surrounding it. Argo all the way.

Amour is too foreign, Beasts too underdog, Django too ******, Les Miserables too singy, Life of Pi doesn't stand a chance, Silver Linings Playbook not really a "best picture type."

That leaves us with Argo, Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty. Argo is about movies and America being the best thing ever, Lincoln has DDL playing one of our most famous historical figures and Zero Dark Thirty is about America killing terrorists. It's a real toss up for me, they're all masturbatory enough for the academy.

The Academy really patted itself on the back last year with The Artist and Hugo sweeping up awards left and right and I think Zero Dark Thirty has a little too much controversy in the public eye and we all know that the academy is afraid of things like that. I'll tentatively say Lincoln because of that, but I won't be surprised if it's any of those three.

Of the films I've seen this year:

1. Argo
2. Lincoln
3. Silver Linings Playbook
4. Gangster Squad (I know...i was just so entertained)
5. Zero Dark Thirty
6. Les Miserables

I was very let down by Les Miserables. In reality, you just can't fit that plot into a feature film where almost every line is melodic. It slows down the plot far too much. Because of that, the plot was rushed while somehow the movie dragged on.
