you got me :(
so last night I went snowboarding which was awesome, my first time going this season, so I had missed it. did pretty well, but towards the end I was cutting across the middle of the trail (which I probably shouldn't have) and this guy plowed into me full speed. I can't really describe what happened except getting hit really hard and then landing on the ground. according to who I was with I did a flip in the air or something, which sounds kinda cool. the guy apologized and asked if I was alright, I said yeah and just sat there for a few minutes. I was able to ride the rest of the way down, I got to the bottom and I had a few small cuts on my face and a headache. I sat out the last couple runs of the night, drank some water, and then my friends convinced me to walk over with them to the first aid people in case I had a concussion, because I hit my head pretty hard. the people checked me out and gave me the option of going in an ambulance to the hospital or going home. I decided I felt alright enough to go home and they just told the people in the car with me to keep an eye on me. anyway I made it home and my head still hurt, but I didn't feel nauseous or anything, which is a pretty big symptom of a concussion. so eventually I fell asleep in bed, which I was worried about since you're not supposed to sleep with a concussion. but I'm at work now, my head still hurts but I still don't feel nauseous or anything, so I think I'll be alright.
sorry for the long post, just felt like telling you guys because it was a pretty scary experience to be honest. I've never had a concussion or really big injury or anything.
