Being a blues artist half of the time isn't the problem; personally, I think that's a good thing. It shows that blues has progressed beyond its roots and diversified into other genres.

The problem is that there are many more capable musicians than JM who are legends in their own right. He's not quite there, but whatever. I'm sure I'll enjoy the performance.
