Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes recently wrote a very personal entry on his blog (March 7) about his addiction to pharmaceutical drugs and how he is getting clean. Best wishes, Travis.
Best of luck, I met him last year and he's a great guy.
On a side note, I think it's funny though how this is the third news post about different parts of the very same blog post (The Quilt samples, the mash-up album, now this).

i thought that too.
this blog made me really happy. i'm really glad to hear that for Travis. and i think its really cool he was willing to talk about it publicly like that.
i am so proud of travie for doing this he's a great guy...
i just hope nothing else about gch's music will change cuz i love his lyrics they make the band i swear.
can't wait for the quilt!
Props to him. That takes a lot of courage and it's good to know he's getting better. I wish him all the best in his health. I hope this reality check brings him back to Earth a little more seeing as he seemed to be on his way to being another pompous ass celeb (cough cough Pete cough)
wow best of luck to travie....i must say that i have alwas thought he was addicted to drugs of somesort but always pushed it to the back of my mind seeing as none of the people i talked to about GCH told me i was dumb....
i hope all goes well for him and he can get cleaned up....27 is too young to die
i hope travis can recover from that shit...
i've been fighting depression for a long time and i go through spurts of abusing my meds, it sucks to think that one fucking capsule can contain your happiness but on the other hand it can make you dependent on it just to feel alive...soo fucked up
i'm happy there's atleast someone out there going through the same shit i am
A friend of mine finally got sent to a rehab program.
I missed her like crazy but I'm so glad she's off of everything now.
I was always scared she was going to overdose, but thankfully she got the help she needed.
Best wishes, hopes, and prayers to Travis. He'll feel better after he's off of everything.
My friend keeps telling me how happy she is to be off of everything.
