Really enjoying this, it develops upon 'Kiss Each Other Clean' which did feel like a complete departure from his more stripped back material. I loved how he expanded on his songs when I saw him live

His older stuff is more personal and intimate sounding, but I'll take this too. Song is solid.

I totally agree with this, but Shepard's Dog grew on me and I actually really enjoyed Kiss Each Other Clean. No doubt Sam shows talend in almost anything he releases, so this should be really interesting.

I love Iron & Wine but I was not expecting that. I'm not too sure how I feel about the new sound, but I'll definitely give this a listen or two in April.
