It's a pretty cool photo originally and their reasoning about choosing it seems pretty solid.

Edit: Actually the more I think about it, the more I think that it's an awesome photo, but not particularly good as an album cover. If that makes any sense.

Gave this a listen. Patrick sounds great on it, but the rest of the song feels a bit flat to me, despite the 'huge' style production.

As for the lyrics, I've never particularly enjoyed FOB lyrics, so it's same old, same old on that front.

Last time I listened to FAD it was about 7am in a little French town and I was going out of my mind with tiredness and boredom. It was a surreal listen. I remember enjoying Disloyal whatever and Coffees For Closers, but nothing else of the album stuck out.

Halfway through and Patrick sounds fantastic, but it feels quite forgettable to me. I dunno, I'm not really much of a FOB fan in general, so take my opinions with a huge pinch of salt, but apart from the vocals, this album is doing nothing for me.

Finished my first listen. Starts strong, it kind of flags in the middle and my attention wavered a bit, but it picks it up with the final track, which is awesome. I also really enjoyed Young Volcanoes. It was alright, but the middle section probably means I won't return to it much as an album, I'm more likely to return to the individual songs that I enjoyed.
