Its crazy for me at least to think how fast time has flown. I remember buying DTW when I was in the 6th grade. Now, Ill be graduating in May, and you and 2 other bands are the only ones that have survived my tastes, and its been awesome to see you guys grow and change at the same point of my life when I did. 6 years of great fuckin music
First of all, the new record is fucking amazing, as all the others ones! So, i have 2 questions:
1- Shane, where did you learn to scream like this? Any tips or advices?
2- When are you guys coming to Brazil? (this one should sound like an order, ok?)
Cheers and thanks for being such a influent part of my life!
I love you guys by the way. This is how the wind shifts is incredible. Have you guys ever thought of re recording WBIEF ? Just to hear how you guys have progressed on a studio album?
Also, is it true 2 of the songs on the new album when played together create a 15th song?
I wanted to say thanks to you and your label for quoting me in the Short Songs press release, it certainly helped impress my university when I applied.
Do you have any plans to tour the UK, and if so who would you like to tour with? It would be great to see you continue the EU tour with FFAF.
We have had the same artist do the paintings for all of our full-length albums... His name is Martin Wittfooth (www.martinwittfooth.com) and I met him back in 2002 when we worked together at a snowboard shop in Canada.
Oh cool. Looks like he did The Joy Formidable's artwork, too. Looking forward to buying your new album!
Hey guys, I would say something about This Is How The Wind Shifts but I listened to it yet; saving it for the proper release!
One question though, What was the reason behind leaving Victory? Just curious because with the Decade album you guys still seemed pretty content with Victory even though it was you last release with them.
