7th grader with a guitar? Dude, do you have any idea how many people have tried (and failed) to replicate that sound over the last 22 years, and how many people have tried and failed to get their heads around how Kevin Shields even created that sound??

Also, to those who think MBV just plays the same loop for 3+ minutes on a song - the more you listen to the band, the more you pick up on the fact that there are actually subtle riffs playing underneath the layers of noise that are constantly changing/shifting so no, it's not just a loop.
