and absolutely true. Hi, Everything's Great is an essential road trip album, because there's something you can relate to from that album can happen to you in any state it seems. and the other records find their ways to explain these days. Limbeck never sounds better to me than when i'm in a car.

i think it has some of their best songs, and i think its really cool they did so much of it live in the studio, and that gary louris from the jayhawks produced it... i just don't like the sound as much. that being said, its an absolutely brilliant record worth listening to constantly. i actually don't think i can really rank or compare the 2nd and 3rd records. both are so great for their own reasons. but Hi holds too special of a place for me to ever be knocked from the top.


and next week is going to be the best week i've had in a few years. i get to record music AND see limbeck and house of fools three times? aaslfkajflsfjlkjsf happiness.
