This is definitely one of the best tracks on this album. They need to stop trying to reinvent Stomping Ground and just write.

Stomping Ground was unreal. I still have that album in my car and throw it in on a rainey day. Every album since then have had their moments but really just average. I think the Feldman's lyrical talents are flatlining. Either that or they just don't care anymore because in my opinion, the only people that buy their albums are the older fans from 2000 or earlier. They still matter in Europe though. I think they just are content at where they are. Nothing wrong with that but with that mentality, you have nowhere to go but down.

Goldfinger is one of my fav. band of all the time! They never disappoint! (except if you are a close minded person and you just want to hear a different versions of their first album again and again!)

Disconnection Notice was awesome! ... for some ppl it was too poppy, but thats okay with me, i m not afraid to say that i like melodic pop/rock music, its NOT a shame u know ... !

Now they went back to their original sound, i dont mind! just give me anything from Goldfinger and i ll be happy!!!!!!!

This song is actually pretty good. It would be great but Feldmann's lyrics have been on a slow decline after stomping ground. I love the music, I love the feel of it. I'm actually more than excited to hear this album, I just hope it's not leading up to the recent disapointment they've been dishing out.

Everyone keeps saying its a return to their old song....dude...its just having Charlie back that makes the biggest difference.
I am always worried when bands say "its more like our old material" because it usually sounds forced. the horns sound natural on this song....
I used to have a goldfinger fan site on this music site called rmp3.net.......coincidentally, Jason & absolutepunk.net used to be hosted on the same site as punk.rmp3.net when it was just blink & mxpx....good times

I don't think there is anything close minded about not liking the new stuff. It's not about re inventing the 1st album, It's about putting out a good product, something that shows what they can really do, which sadly they havent done in quite some time.

I'll be the first to admit it, Hangups and the Self Title were and still are two of my favorite albums and yeah it would be cool to hear more songs like these but I'm not counting on it.

I personally (and I know tons of other people do as well) loved when they went from the ska influenced hang ups to the the more rock influenced Stomping Ground. John was still writing good lyrics, Charlie still played a big role in the music and it was still fun...

but sadly now John has let his choices rule his life and his music, Something that I think REALLY started driving nails in the Goldfinger music coffin and caused him to half ass it in writing.

I was at a goldfinger show a few years ago here in Milwaukee where the band acted like children because they couldn't get there way, after they signed contracts and knew exactly what they were prohibited to do. Instead of just deal with it John gets up on stage and blasts god because the promoter was very christian.

The band has gone down hill (and I invite anyone to debate this with me) and I honestly think this is there last chance with a lot of people... and it's sad.

thats hysterical ... for all intents and purposes, Goldfinger was Mest's biggest influence and Feldman produced / co-wrote the majority of their material.
...sigh.

Are you serious?

Goldfinger, and Feldmann took Mest under their wing. They took them out on tour when they were no one, and Feldmann produced their record. Goldfinger was doing this long before Mest.
