Not sure how I feel about these things. Part of me thinks it's really cool and the other part of me thinks it's a rather weak attempt at making more cash. I go back and forth. I don't think there's a single artist or band that I would pay over $100 to write a song just for me.

Hey! You might be surprised at some of the upcoming artists we are preparing to launch on the site. I totally see where you're coming from with the "quick cash grab" mentality-- but honestly, there will be much more to it than that for most artists. Custom songs are going to be just part of it-- but even that... totally customized, and a way for songwriters to find work connecting with fans with something that will be very special to them. I've only done a few so far-- and the requests have been very personal. It's been really cool.
