woah! It now sounds like everything else they've ever done, instead of sounding like a raw version of everything else they've ever done!

Knew about this for awhile; when I saw them with Emmure, they opened their set with three songs from this record

Can a BMTH fan really make this complaint?

I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

Are you saying I shouldn't mind the deathcore sound because of my liking of BMTH? Because I don't have any issue with whitechapel, they just get boring as nearly all of their songs sound alike.

Or are you suggesting that BMTH always sounds the same? If so, you may want to listen again. "Count Your Blessings" is not remotely similar to "Sempiternal"

The jump in writing from this record to This Is Exile is even more obvious now.

And if you seriously think this sounds like A New Era Of Corruption you should probably get your ears checked.

I definitely don't like remastering of CD's, generally I feel like its the label cashing in. But this album was heavy as fuck and this band is extremely talented at what they do. And during the time that this came out, they were a big deal in the metal scene. Don't know if they still pull crowds like they used to but if they start playing more songs off this again because of this re release I may attend one more show.

They are far more popular now than they were at the time of the "Somatic Defilement" release.

I haven't attended a whitechapel show in years and haven't heard much talk about them as of recent. Downloaded the last cd and listened a few times. Kinda seemed like they were losing that energy they had.

I'm saying that BMTH's stuff all sounds the same. I mean, listening to Sempiternal and then going back to Suicide Season... Yea, there are small differences but it's all just the same basic stuff.
