But Cartel still are around and making some DAMN good music. Hell, their self-titled, the one they made in the bubble, was very good. No Chroma, but still good.
Couldn't the same thing be said about Motion City Soundtrack? Except they didn't have to deal with a lot of fan backlash from the bubble fiasco. I feel like I should note that I do like all 3 of Cartel's albums. Just using this as a point, albeit not a great one.
As of October of 2009 Chroma
had sold 250,000 copies and Cartel
had sold less than 100,000. Unless things have drastically changed in the last 3+ years you are incorrect. With a TV show devoted to the creation of an album surely one could expect sales to be more than 100,000 units in 2 years
