yeah, they released that Lagwagon remixed/remastered anthology back in 2011, which also included a live dvd. they just tossed the little DVD inside the vinyl boxset. hah.

plus these are three beloved Strung Out albums/Fat Wreck releases - fans of the band and label will eat up the vinyl format like nothing.
Normally, I'd assume Fat would be releasing it on vinyl. However, Blackhawks doesn't have me totally convinced.

This is going to be fucking epic. Three of my favourite albums of all time (never really got into any of the ones they've released since, though).

I really loved the original sound of Suburban, but the other two albums are definately going to benefit hugely from this makeover. Also stoked for the live DVD!

I dont know why anyone thinks Element needs any sort of touch up. Ryan Greene mixed the thing and its personally my favorite record of all time when it comes to production

Pretty stoked on this--especially after hearing what they did with the tracks released on Top Contenders. They were strong cuts before but a band like Strung Out should sound as crisp and clear as humanly possible.

I'm pretty sure the b-sides release tapped 'em out of all the songs that didn't make the albums from back then, but some demo and/or acoustic material would be rad!

I agree fully with you about Elements. That shit sounds awesome.

I'm not an audiophile though, so it takes a lot for me to gripe about an album's production (or just be really obvious, and is usually a deliberate decision that my ears don't agree with).

Still, I hope they do some re-working with Exile. That one's always felt/sounded a bit "muddy" to me. If that makes sense.
