www.rapgenius.com

website that breaks down all the references and second/triple meanings in rap songs. They do some more high-profile songs of other genres, but their coverage of hip hop is pretty impressive and comprehensive.
Cool, will read.

there's also a youtube video of untitled on TDAG where it's played backwards and it says something like "it never ends" over and over.

The Format cross references their own lyrics a lot, it's one of my favorite things about dog problems, and even the snails EP.

Since you guys are talking about Brand New's D&G record... This might be a dumb question.

Doesn't Defeater's Empty Days album cover resemble BN's album cover without the personages? Defeater do this on purpose?

Nate kept that with fun. "Some nights I dream of barlights and pretty girls."

The title tracks to Suburbia by TWY are all in 6/8 time (or is And Now I'm Nothing more 3/4?), those 2 time signatures still confuse me sometimes.

Either way it's a cool idea- I'm assuming it was planned.

He references the Format a lot in fun. too.

I've always liked how in The Olivia Tremor Control's second record there's a certain melody that's repeated throughout the record, sometimes it's very audible, sometimes it's hidden very far down in the mix.
