Love this band to death, but they need to slow down a little on new music. They need to make the fans miss them more, in my opinion. These guys are workhorses, though.

Like a fine wine, they get better with age. Paper Walls, WYTTSY, and Southern Air. The acoustic album sounds great. I don't care if this is an acoustic album of Ocean Ave or Southern Air or whatever else it could be, I'm in.

I'm down for anything they feel like doing, everything they put out in the last 2 years was spectacular (included WYTTSY acoustic). Acoustic version of OA would be interesting, but I think they could do even better. we'll see.

By the way, a 10 year OA WORLD tour would be the one thing I could see and then die happy.

Ryan is on vocal rest now after a hemorrhaging and swelling vocal chord.

I'm sure this has something to do with Ocean Avenue. Maybe acoustic or new version of songs?
that would be bad ass!

it took me way too long to get into their recent two albums but i like both of them a bunch. not as much as the three before them but a bunch

Mehrrrr sucks about his vocals. Would be awesome if they did re-imaginings of Ocean Avenue (probably released for free if they could but Hopeless would want to sell the shit out of that) and a 10 Year Anniversary tour to commemorate.

I've been into them since One For The Kids, seeing them right after Warren got kicked out. Kenny from TSL filled in, which was awesome.

Even though the new stuff doesn't hit me as much as the older stuff, I still dig it. I think as we age music isn't as emotionally connecting as it was when we first discovered it. But I'm okay with that.

If the rumors of them doing a joint anniversary tour with Story of the Year for their "Avenue" albums are true, is it safe to assume this is them doing the same acoustic re-imagining of Ocean Avenue that SOTY is doing for Page Avenue?

If it's not for a new album I could see them doing a covers ep or re-interpretations of older yellowcard songs. Still hope it's new music from them, but I 'm happy they are recording in studio no matter what.

Personally, I hope it's not limited to Ocean Ave material, because I think this band has had many good albums worth celebrating and I still remember listening to One For The Kids before Ocean Ave pushed them into the spotlight. Wish they'd do updated of versions of October Nights and Rocket at some point.

There must be something Ocean Avenue-themed, they've been teasing us since last December.

I don't get the 'they need to slow down thing' musically. Guess they just needed to donut physically for Ryan's voice. Hope he's feeling better soon so he can lay down so vocal tracks.
