will be interested to see how this holds up in 4 or 5 months. Every Alk3 record that has come out since FHTI/Good Mourning has people clammouring on its release. Everyone always loves a different song, but each album is recognized as being an improvement. I remember people saying how great Crimson was, how much growth there was in Agony & Irony, how This Addiction was a return to form, and now how this one is "the old trio".
This is not to knock it though, on my first listen i definitely love some songs and the overall feel of the album.
Agree 100%. As much as i love alkaline trio, their last few albums have very little lasting value. I always wondered if it was because I overplayed them early on? But that never seems to be a problem for From Here to Infirmary...
