Man, hahah, all the same reasons I didn't when it first came out. Production, repetitiveness, lyrics, back up vocals, lack of energy.
TAYF is their best album. And the only one I still listen to.
Respect your opinion, but I strongly disagree. I don't think it's really that repetitive, and if it is I don't notice it or care (their most recent album, however...), and beyond that... basically I prefer everything you listed about it more than TAYF.
I love TAYF still though.
EDIT: Also, ordered it on tan, as the smoke was sold-out.
