Album Sales Round-Up: Week of March 27th, 2013

Justin Timberlake absolutely dominated the charts this week, selling 969,000 copies of his new album. Kacey Musgraves shows up at number two with 43,500 copies sold of Same Trailer Different Park, while Bruno Mars took third with 41,000 copies of his latest. More notable album sales are included below, including the Lydia debut and Fall Out Boy's single going gold. Overall album sales in this past week totaled 6.1 million units, up 9% compared with the previous week and up 11% compared with the comparable sales week of 2012. Year-to-date album sales stand at 67.5 million, down 6% compared with the same total at this point last year.

Glad to see Kacey Musgraves at number two. I bought her album last week and its fantastic, if you enjoy that genre, I would recommend it.
